Some acoustic panels can lose performance when exposed to moisture. Water uptake may increase weight, reduce sound absorption efficiency, and prolonged humidity can encourage mold growth. Moisture trapped for long periods can also raise the risk of long-term damage.

Water-Resistant Acoustic Performance with Ichos

With a hydrophobic structure, ICHOS-WR helps repel water and maintain its form, supporting consistent acoustic control in humid conditions. Its resistance to mold and mildew makes it suitable for demanding interior areas and covered outdoor applications. Fast drying behavior also helps limit moisture retention inside the panel.
